Concept developmemt: 

Lines of desire: concepts 

1) tracks created by footfall rather than by design. These are tracks created by people through a space because the designed tracks don't work for them 

2) Heels worn as felt desirable rather than being practical for running away from predators. 

3) Women wearing what they find attractive without fear for their own personal safety. Not having to consider their footwear for fear they will need to run for their lives. 

4) freedom to roam wherever they want to without restriction. Wandering freely into areas not designed by men to benefit men, but just because they want to go there. 

5) Adorning themselves for their own pleasure rather than to elicit the male gaze (and potential comodification). Feeling beautiful in soft fabrics. Loving their own bodies. Feeling safe.
