UV Reactive Dye experiments

 

These are the results of the UV tests. The focus is on extending the colour for the traditional Cyanotype print/painting process. This is so that the planned new collection of work entitled ‘femme’ can be produced as Cyanotype with colour details. 

Botanical samples were arranged in the dark room to limit UV reaction prior to exposure to sunlight. 

These samples were cut into blades to add to the current work as this is going to form the basis of the material maps for the VR world (which is development for Metaquest 3). 

It’s important to note that the UV level is low at the moment and it’s expected that exposure time will be varied later on in the summer when UV is (5+)
