Never Mind Cyanotype Print Collection.

This collection of work began in 2007, with the work Time (originally entitled Time to Mind) which examined the effect of trauma on the human perception of time and motion. Extensive research was conducted on the Theory of Mind, Cognitive perception and Mental Health.

This was followed by many years of trying to better understand how to re-present internalised states, mental modelling, modelling of virtual worlds, mapping natural worlds, effects of nature on mental health and other forms of sensory perception other than sight.

Beginning with Helix, a representation of memories and dreams jotted down in my sketchbooks, I produced the Cyanotype entitled ‘Mind”, in which the sketches were transferred to small ohp discs and scattered along a spiral line of thread and then exposed to the sun.

This work also examines relations between the mental health conditions of Alzheimer’s, navigation difficulties, Narcissistic Personality Disorder and other personality disorders, addiction and trauma.

Future work is expected to bevadded to this collection but can be viewed at www.sarrashepherd.com
