Locust: Pre-Production Notes

(I)ntelligence takes as it's starting point an actual locust. The methodical approach of observing, sketching, dissecting into component parts, and creating a pattern (notated as a sewing pattern) drawn in a diagrammatical format, in conjunction with the reflexive practice will track the emergence of an iterative methodology.

This project is intended to locate points of connectivity between cg modelling and material craft practices, therefore aspects such as material handling, the sketch, notation and the diagram as used in craft practices will be recorded for analysis.The findings of this test will then form the foundations for the next cycle of research.
